Itinerary Highlights

Welcome aboard the True North II in Exmouth for a cocktail and dinner before we begin an extraordinary journey.

Begin your adventure at World Heritage–listed Ningaloo Reef, where dazzling white beaches meet vibrant coral gardens just metres from the shoreline. Slip into crystal-clear waters to encounter whale sharks, manta rays, dolphins, dugongs, turtles and an endless kaleidoscope of fish. Explore hidden bays and newly discovered sponge gardens with local marine biologist Frazer McGregor, try your hand at light game fishing, or visit the seaside village of Coral Bay.

Discover the history of Norwegian Bay and its old whaling station before another day immersed in Ningaloo’s turquoise waters. Dive or snorkel the rich fringing reefs, surf a rolling break, or book a guided dive at the iconic Exmouth jetty with a local operator.

Venture offshore to the Muiron Islands – a remote marine sanctuary alive with colourful corals and thriving fish populations. Snorkel, fish, dive, or surf in these clear waters, and enjoy stories of the islands’ rich maritime history.

Arrive at the enchanting Montebello Islands, an archipelago of 174 islets steeped in history. From French exploration in the early 1800s to British nuclear testing in the 1950s, the Montes have long captured the imagination. Today, they are a pristine paradise perfect for snorkelling, diving, and fishing.

Start the day with a dawn fishing expedition or join our naturalist for beachcombing and birdwatching in this Important Bird Area (IBA). Spot Fairy Terns, Roseate Terns, and Sooty Oystercatchers before exploring by heli or diving for giant crayfish. In the afternoon wind down with sunset drinks on Vodka Beach.

Enjoy a day at sea as we cruise toward the Rowley Shoals. Arrive at sunset, with the promise of untouched coral reefs waiting to be explored.

Awake to the splendour of Clerke Reef. Spend the day snorkelling, diving, or fishing in waters alive with colour. Walk the sands of Bedwell Island and round off the day with drinks as the sun dips below the horizon.

Dive deeper into the Rowley Shoals experience with more world‑class snorkelling and diving among giant clams, vibrant corals, and abundant marine life. Take to the skies for a heli flight to fully appreciate the grandeur of this coral wonderland.

Snorkel in ‘The Aquarium’ – a shallow lagoon teeming with fish – before exploring the outer reef, with sites such as Mermaid Reef, Cod Hole, and Northern Wall offering thrilling underwater encounters. Cap off your voyage with a beach BBQ and our famed island party beneath a canopy of stars.

Disembark in Broome – where red sands meet the Indian Ocean – carrying with you memories of an adventure few will ever experience.

Embrace the unexpected – it’s part of the adventure. This itinerary is a guide. We adjust plans based on weather, tides, wildlife, and opportunities we encounter. Remote communities may be unavailable due to local customs. Flexibility makes expeditions special.
